		<description>Good points.  If anything, college acts as another filter.  The first is grade school, then high school, then college.  The people who leave college with a diploma have more than just the knowledge.  They have the experience of actually sticking with something for four (or five) years.  Employers like the idea of their workers actually staying with the company for a while.  Far too many people find working &quot;too hard&quot; and choose to mooch off of others.

Skipping the degree can work, but success without it is harder to find - just like very successful musicians, writers and computer geeks are relatively hard to find.

There is a spoon though.  No doubt about that.</description>
